Ellis's Story
Ellis’s golf journey began in his junior years, representing Lancashire Boys. He turned professional in 2019 while working as an assistant at Bramhall Golf Club, where he developed his coaching skills and gained valuable experience in shop management.
Before his current role, Ellis worked as a full-time golf coach in Cheshire, mentoring players of all abilities. In September 2023, he was appointed Head Professional at Brookdale Golf Club. Since his arrival, the club shop has been fully refurbished and the studio completely transformed, marking a period of significant progress for the club. Ellis has also guided two of Brookdale’s junior members into Lancashire squads for their respective age groups, showcasing his commitment to developing young talent.
In 2025, Ellis’s expertise and reputation in the game were recognised when he was selected as a Callaway Brand Ambassador, reflecting his commitment to excellence both on and off the course.
