The 9th hole covers the area of the valley historically known as Probert’s Hollow.
Possibly the most demanding tee shot on the course. With a river to cross, trees on the right and the birch on the left will obscure any drive that is not central. A blind second shot, sheltered from the breeze, to a flat green can be difficult to judge; beware of the right hand bunker!
